• Matching and communication data. Match interactions, messages exchanged on the platform, invitations sent and received, and feedback or reports.
• Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Technical data. IP address, device and browser information, log data, approximate location derived from IP, and cookies or similar technologies.
• Third-party authentication. If you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive limited profile information from that provider as authorized by you.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Create and manage your account, profile, and venture listings.
• Generate compatibility signals (such as V-Score™, T-Score, Match Score, and Trust Score™) and surface relevant matches.
• Facilitate communication, invitations, and introductions between users.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Send transactional emails (account, security, billing, match activity) and, where permitted, product updates.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Use.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service, prevent abuse, and run our business), consent (for optional features such as marketing emails), and legal obligation (to comply with applicable law).

We share information only as described below:

• With other users. Profile information you choose to make visible is shared with users you match or communicate with. Matches are opt-in on both sides.
• With service providers. We use vetted third parties for hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, analytics, and payments. They process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
• For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of MatchMyVenture, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information.
